MosaïCanada: A Different Way to Tell Stories

By far, one of my favourite aspects of Ottawa is that there is always something new and exciting to show visitors (or locals!). When my mom came to visit in July, we knew most of the trip would be dedicated to family time and Canada Day celebrations. Still, for her last day in Ottawa, we crossed the bridge into Gatineau, Quebec to see a limited time event – MosaïCanada.

Québec City: Canada’s Taste of Europe

I’ve gushed before on here about how much I love history, how fascinating I find quaint medieval towns like Assisi, and how awed I am by Gothic architecture. It will come as no surprise to anyone who has been to Québec City to hear that I fell head over heels for the 1608 splendor of Old Québec. If there’s one place I’ve been in Canada that truly made me feel like I was walking the streets of a city in Europe, it’s Québec City.
