Five years ago, I took a somewhat risky chance in life – without having any sort of job lined up, I moved to a city I’d never even visited. That risk paid off tenfold as I fell head over heels in love with Ottawa and the life I built there.
When I think of provinces with gorgeous coastlines in Canada, New Brunswick isn’t usually the first province to pop into my head. Even so, there is one stretch of shoreline along the Bay of Fundy in New Brunswick which is unlike any I’ve ever seen. Given that it spends most of its time underwater, it’s safe to say this experience was bound to be a unique one.
With warmer weather fast approaching, I’m eager to venture outside and explore some of the national parks Canada has to offer. This year is a great time to do it, as they’ve released the national parks pass for free in celebration of Canada’s 150th! I don’t have the opportunity to visit nearly as many parks and historic sites as I’d like to this year, but it did get me thinking about my dream destinations list.
